I purchased this rifle in July and it was more bang for the buck then anything out there. It is very rugged and mostly plastic but the feel is sturdy and balanced. One nagging point is the sling mounts as the first time i used them they broke. Thankfully this rifle has taken a beaten and still performed flawlessly. The hop up is a pain to get just right and I reccomend .2 grams bbs. Accuracy is more then enough to sustain in a backyard scrimmage however if engauging in over 120 feet it is not so great. Be prepared for some sore arms as the rifle weights 8 lbs or so and cocking it takes some force. I used the rifle daily for 3 months and here and then now and I have noticed a small loss in power but for 5 months of use and only 40 bucks it beats anything other spring gun out there for the same price. If your thinking about purchasing this item do so you will not be let down.

This was a great gun, being the first rifle I buy for myself. First the shipping was pretty fast, and the product arrived in good condition. The gun works great, but is fairly hard to cock. Otherwise, great gun for a great price!

I bought this gun in the summer of 2008 and it hasn't broken yet! it is made from mostly plastic except for the top metal receiver. it is all black and as adjustable iron sights constructed from metal. It shoots at approx. 380-410 FPS with different sized rounds. it is xtreamly accurate, i was able to shoot through a coke can at 80 yards and it went through both ends of the can. The only con about this gun is that when u take out the clip 2-3 BB's come out with it. Overall it is a great weapon.

I really like this gun so far but i need to know how to work the laser sight, mine doesn't seem to turn on....
Other than that great gun, shoots at a high fps and has an authentic feel to it. Highly recommend buying.

Pros :
• Looks great!
• Sturdy, easy to use.
• Easy adjustable iron sight.
• Consistent accuracy to shoot a grapefruit size target from 30 feet away. Can place holes into a soda cans from that distance.
• From 50 feet away it has the consistent accuracy to shoot a notebook size target.

Cons:
• The clip that feeds the gun with bb's, when removed always has 2-3 bbs unused. Not too much of problem since it holds 37 bb's. You can always just pocket the extras for later.
• The flash light and scope are kind of useless. They are just for looks.
• It weights 7 lbs around, keep in mind some sniper guns weight 10 lbs!

I recommend 6mm 0.25g bb's for the best results, anything lower and you will miss more. For a price range of $60, you usually end up with a "cheapy gun" But the M14 Sniper Spring Airsoft Rifle, you get decent quality that would be hard to beat at that price range. Great entry level gun that can help you kick butt.
