For the price it is an amazing buy. I bought it and loved it the moment it came out of the box. ( this was because it was my first long range rifle ) Pros: Cheap, Great for beginers, Wont scare all your friends so much that they wont want to play with you Very accurate sights, and adjustible hop-up. Also good acuracy with .2 or .25 bbs ( 7/10 )
Cons: Low quality plastic, Is not actually a bolt action airsoft gun, the Ris rail is to far forward to mount a scope that you could look through, Horrible accuracy with .12 bbs ( 3/10 ) All the accesories are completely use less ( except the speed loader... it's golden )
All in all I would say that it is a 9/10 for price and a 6/10 for performance
Well there are a ton of things I love about this gun. It seemed that every good thing about this gun also came with a "well..." attached with it. I'm a pretty novice airsofter, and I just run through orchards with my friends every now and then. This gun is not good for that type of game. I assumed it'd be the size of a M4 or something smaller, this gun us HUGE. It's big for me and I'm 5' 5", but I mean that's also my fault for not reading all the details. Still it's huge.
But unlike the $27 m4 you can buy on here this gun is heavy, decently weighted until you put on the extra rail and the accessories, then it's very front heavy. And like someone said, the accessories aren't going to help you. My flashlight doesn't even turn on all the way. Even with just the extra rail I struggled with keeping the gun at an easy level, while standing. Reminder to me and everyone else. This is a sniper rifle. Not a close quarter rifle. It's total crap to load if you forgot your speed loader [included] at home. [don't do the deal that "comes with a speed loader" unless you want 2] The magazine has a compartment to store BB's but that won't put them in the actual chamber [aka not a magazine you hold in the air and shake till the BB's fall in, it's just an empty waste of space] and when I opened the compartment the cheap plastic sliding door falls off constantly, I might just super glue it back on, closed for ever. So after you put on your goodies, or leave them off, load up the magazine and try to focus your aim, here's some more things you'll run into. .12's will be accurate for about 8 feet, so if you plan on using this close quarters [don't] then you can use them, anything longer range they'll shoot straight then curve into the ceiling. If you use .20's you get about a 14 range before they shoot into the ceiling. I expected the .20's to work so I haven't tested .25's yet, I was hoping I wouldn't have to invest in that. But basically if you use .20's you need to be at most 17-19 feet away for an accurate shot. The actual cocking of the gun is exhausting after about 10 times in a minute. It's take a lot of power to pull the side cocking mechanism, and I find that I have to rest it against my leg or body to do it easily, vs in air. This exhausts my arm quickly and whatever part of my body I'm pushing the force against. I had a battle of my buddy at one end of a gym, and me at the other end, he got way more shots in, hit me more often [little pings though no serious pain], and had better accuracy with a lower FPS gun and .20 ammo. With this I hit him about 3 times [it hurt], but by the time our mags were empty I needed to change gun to give my arm a break. All in all. It's a good gun for the price. Very powerful. Looks very badass. If you have the patience and the power to use it, then you should. It'll kick ass at 12ft, if you can master cocking it quickly. Basically this just wasn't the right gun for me because of it's size, and that it's to hard to load quickly, and fire quickly. But if you're the kind that snipe each other or sit in a dark field, then this might be a good match for you. Oh, also, it doesn't come with a gun strap. Or at least, mine didn't. And if you buy this one the company will mail you the box directly, not put it in a different box. [just put some packaging tape and the sticker with my name on it mailed as is. This caused a lot of the styrofoam to get caught into the nooks and crannies. And on the outside it's a clear picture of a gun, so if you're trying to hide what it actually is AKA if you're a college student who's not allowed to have airsoft guns in dorm] order from a different company.
